Vietnam's national football team remain outside of the top three in the Southeast Asian rankings, but have managed to jump from seventh place to fourth this month, according to FIFA.

Vietnam, 151st in the world, came fourth after one draw and one defeat against Qatar and Uzbekistan played in September.

The Philippines claimed the ASEAN No 1 spot and rose to world's 137th in the rankings.

Second place belonged to Thailand (143rd in the world) while Myanmar (149th) came third.-VNA
