Vietnam’s health authorities on July 11 confirmed six more cases of A/H1N1 influenza infection, bringing the country’s tally to 285 with no deaths being reported so far.

According to the Ministry of Health, the newly-confirmed cases of theA/H1N1 flu are in the southern region.
The ministry added that 221 among the infected patients have got clear bills of health while others have been isolated and are undergoing treatment.

The Ministry of Health has also recommended that relevant agencies at all levels to keep a close watch on the latest developments of the flu and take prompt measures against a possible outbreak into a pandemic.

Travelling to A/H1N1-stricken and storm-and-rain-hit areas should be limited currently, it added./.
