The team will face Italy, Guatemala and Paraguay in the group.
Vietnam will meet Guatemala on September 11 and Paraguay on September 14, with both games in Cali city, and Italy on September 17 in Bucaramanga city.
According to Vietnam’s coach Bruno Garcia, Vietnam aims to reach the quarterfinals.
The Cup, which features 24 teams, will take place from September 10 to October 1 in Colombia.
Vietnam qualified for the World Cup for the first time after defeating reigning Asian champions Japan in the quarterfinals of the AFC Futsal Championship in February.
Vietnam’s players will prepare for the event at a training camp in Japan.-VNA
