The team won 25-17, 25-20 and 25-14, in just over one hour of playing.
In the qualifying round, Kazakhstan lost 3-1 to Vietnam.
The Vietnamese team led by coach Nguyen Manh Hung performed outstanding in the qualifying round.
The final match will take place on May 25.
Earlier, the Thai team trounced the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea with a 3-0 victory.-VNA
