Vietnam’s men’s football dropped ten spots to 153th place in the World Football Federation (FIFA)’s ranking table, which was released on August 6.

In Asia, Vietnam ended up in the 25th place. Iran kept its top position, followed by the Republic of Korea in second and Japan in third.

In Southeast Asia, Vietnam was in third position after Philippines, who moved one spot down but retained its top place in the region ahead of Thailand.

Globally, Argentina remain on top of the table and was followed by Belgium, who climbed one spot to overtake Germany, who was reduced to third place.-VNA
