The Vietnam Journalists Association has launched the ‘ASEAN – One Community’ press photo contest, calling for the participation of members of press organisations from the ASEAN members.

The event aims to enhance solidarity and unity, as well create a chance to exchange experiences among journalists and press organisations within the ASEAN community. The contest is also expected to reinforce the Confederation of ASEAN Journalists (CAJ) contribution to the regional development and its global influence.
Taken within the three last months, the entries (which can be either colour or black and white), have to reflect the beauty of people’s life, customs, or traditional and modern cultures within the ASEAN community.
Photos that express the close-knit relationship and solidarity among ASEAN members, for the common goal of a peaceful and prosperous ASEAN, are also eligible for the competition.
Each entry must consist of a name and caption in English below 200 words, together with information about its author. The photo can be digital or panorama in either JPG or JPEG format with a minimum size of 1MB and a maximum size of 100MB.
The deadline for submitting entries is November 10, 2016. The contest winners are expected to be announced by the end of this December.-VNA
