Vietnam gathered in Phnom Penh on November 27 for the fifth joint
conference to discuss the quality of regional auditing and find ways to
further collaborate.

The Vietnamese delegation was led by State Auditor General Nguyen Huu Van.
At the meeting, the leaders informed each other of their agencies’ operations since the previous meeting and explained future advantages and challenges as they try to establish transparent, efficient and sustainable financing.
The three heads shared experiences in helping governments map out and implement economic development strategies. They also agreed to increase the exchange of high-ranking delegations and conduct joint audits.
The first meeting was held in 2009 in Hanoi . Laos will host the next event in 2014.-VNA
