The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO) on June 5 handed over 20 sets of computers to the Laos-Vietnam Friendship Association (LVFA) to help the association’s branches operate more effectively.

Addressing the presenting ceremony, VUFO President Vu Xuan Hong said he believed that relations between the two organisations in particular and the two countries in general would be cemented and prosper under the leadership of the two Parties.

Hong also expressed his delight at practical activities carried out by the two associations over the past time, saying these contributed to promoting the people’s mutual understanding and deepening bilateral ties.

Hong’s views were echoed by Lao Education Minister and LVFA President Phankham Viphavanh, who expressed hopes that VUFO and LVFA would increase exchanges and education of revolutionary traditions and share their experience./.
