Vietnam, Laos strengthen procuracy cooperation

The Vietnamese delegation was led by Tran Quoc Vuong, Director of the Supreme People’s Procuracy, while the Lao delegation was headed by Director of the Supreme People’s Procuracy Somphanh Phengkhammy.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed measures to strengthen legal cooperation in preventing organised transnational criminals, especially drug and human traffickers, in Vietnamese and Lao border provinces.
The two sides also tabled ways to boost the efficiency of comprehensive cooperation between the two countries’ procuracy sectors./.
