Binh Phuoc province and Nampula province of Mozambique will boost their cooperation in industry, agriculture and trade, particularly in cashew nuts, rubber and wood processing.

An agreement to this effect was signed in the central province of Binh Phuoc on Jan. 26 between Chairman of the Binh Phuoc provincial people’s Committee Truong Tan Thieu and the governor of Nampula province Felismo Tcoli.

Under the agreement, the two provinces will step up exchanges of staff to study and share experiences to realise bilateral projects.

Thieu said that Binh Phuoc would continue to send officials to Nampula to study the market to help bolster bilateral friendship and confirmed further support for the province in socio-economic development.

Tcoli invited Thieu to visit Nampula, saying he hoped the province would receive more support from Binh Phuoc to improve people’s living conditions as well as promote the province’s potential.

Earlier, the Mozambique delegation paid a visit to several local economic and industrial zones./.
