Vietnam Outreach on April 4 presented 153 million VND to 51 children whose relatives were killed in a recent landslide in Nam Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, central province of Nghe An.

With funding provided by the Australian organisation, the provincial Fund for Children on April 4 conducted operations for 150 children suffering from deltoid muscle fibrosis and handed over 100 wheelchairs for disabled kids in the province.

Since 2009, through the National Fund for Vietnamese Children, Vietnam Outreach has financed operations for 300 children with deltoid muscle fibrosis and 60 others with harelip and cleft palate, and given wheelchairs to 370 disabled children in Nghe An.

Currently, more than 30,000 children in the central province are living in extremely difficult conditions, of whom nearly 13,000 are disabled and hundreds are in need of wheelchairs./.
