Vietnam climbed two spots to the 130th place in the World Football Federation (FIFA)’s March rankings, the Vietnam Football Federation said on March 13.

The country, however, failed to retain its top position in Southeast Asia, losing it to the Philippines, who jumped four spots to 128th globally.

In Asia, Iran remained on top ahead of Japan and the Republic of Korea.

There is only one change in the world’s top ten with Spain losing the 10th position to Italy. Spain first entered the top ten in 2007.
