Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) will meet to discuss information technology (IT) service development policies and boost links between IT businesses from both countries.

An agreement to this effect was signed between the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) and the RoK’s Information and Internet Security Agency (KISA) in Hanoi on Feb. 8.

According to the agreement, both parties will expand cooperation in IT personnel training, especially in information security as well as jointly hold seminars and forums to exchange information and experiences in IT development.

VINASA Vice Chairman Pham Tan Cong said that this new initiative offers VINASA the chance to learn more about creating policies that will help to develop IT services.

It also creates opportunities for Vietnam ’s IT businesses to expand ties with their RoK partners./.
