Hanoi (VNA) – Spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry Le Thi Thu Hang on June 15 extended the deepest condolences to the UK government, people and families of the victims of the recent fatal fire.

During the ministry’s regular press conference in Hanoi on June 15, Hang said the fire is a regrettable and heart-rending incident.

She said there has been no information about Vietnamese people falling victim to the fire.

The fire occurred in a high-rise apartment building in west London at 12:54am on June 14, killing at least 17 people and injuring dozens others, but the death toll is expected to rise.-VNA
