Thammasat University Sport Complex, Bangkok.
Vietnam will take part in the 2012 Thailand Open Track and Field Championships to be held from November 2-5 at the Thammasat University Sport Complex, Bangkok.
The 11-member squad will compete against 14 other teams in events such as jumping, throwing, and running.
The team is comprised of elite national athletes who are preparing to be the Vietnamese representatives at the coming Southeast Asian Games next year in Myanmar.
Among them are SEA Games decathlon champion Vu Van Huyen, high jump winner Tran Hue Hoa, and marathon silver medallist Pham Thi Binh.
However the top racer, Truong Thanh Hang, could not compete in the women's 800m due to an injury sustained earlier this month.-VNA
