Vietnam’s shooting squad will participate in the World Shooting Cup 2013 slated for July 3-12 in Spain.

The team including eight sharpshooters is headed by coach Nguyen Thi Nhung, the daily Hanoi Moi newspaper reported on June 20.

The squad’s target is to pocket medals to prove the stable performance of the shooters, who include Hoang Xuan Vinh, who won a gold medal at the World Shooting Cup in the Republic of Korea in April 2013.

The World Shooting Cup 2013 is expected to see the participation of more than 1,000 top shooters from 73 countries and territories worldwide.-VNA
