The 28th Asian Advertising Congress (AdAsia 2013) themed “Re-engineer Advertising” will take place in Hanoi from November 11-14.

The event will be attended by more than 1,000 experts working in communications and advertising from the Asian Federation of Advertising Association (AFAA) member countries and territories, and representatives from many media and advertising enterprises in Asia and the world.

Speaking at a press conference on November 5, President of Vietnam’s Advertising Association Dinh Quang Ngu said the event will create a chance for Vietnamese businesses to learn from prestigious speakers worldwide.

He said useful knowledge shared at the event will help modernise the advertising and communications industry, thus contributing to regional and global development.

It will be a great opportunity to promote Vietnam’s image and expand cooperation in trade, investment and tourism with Asian countries and the world, Ngu added.

From November 12-14, a series of workshops will be held to discuss measures to promote economic and advertising development in the region.

Exhibitions displaying the latest advertising initiatives that won prizes at the Cannes Lion International Festival of Creativity, as well as devices and technologies for the advertising industry will be organised during the event.-VNA
