Vietnam hopes to deepen its relations with Brazil by increasing
the exchange of all-level delegations, accelerating negotiations for the
signing of cooperation documents, promoting existing bilateral
cooperation mechanisms and closely coordinating at multilateral forums.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh made the statement in while meeting with outgoing Brazilian Ambassador Vitoria Alice Cleaver Hanoi on August 14.
Minh spoke highly of the diplomat’s contributions to strengthening the Vietnam-Brazil comprehensive partnership.
The Brazilian ambassador voiced her pleasure at the development of bilateral ties, with two-way trade hitting 2.3 billion USD in 2013 and expected to surge this year.
She thanked the Vietnamese Government and Foreign Ministry for their assistance to the Brazilian Embassy and expressed her wish that in any capacity, she will continue to help foster the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.-VNA
