The ao dai collection by designer Tuan Hai has been honoured as a Vietnam record at the Nha Trang Sea Festival 2013, which is taking place in central Khanh Hoa province from June 8-11.

According to VietNamNet Bridge, the Vietnamese dresses are made by Vietnamese silk, decorated with oil paintings featuring famous landscapes of Vietnam.
 
The collection named "A Glimpse of Vietnam" was made in two years, consisting 99 ao dai painted with oil, describing landscapes of Vietnam such as the Hoan Kiem Lake, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Perfume Pagoda, Ha Long Bay, terraced fields in Sapa, Thien Mu Temple, Hue royal citadel, Hoi An Ancient Town, Ben Thanh Market, Hanoi Opera House, or Nha Rong Wharf.

This collection aims to honor Vietnam’s tourism, country and people as well as the country’s historic sites.
It was performed by Vietnamese beauty queens and top models such as Miss Vietnam through Photos 2005 Ai Nhi, Miss Tourism 2008 Ngoc Diem, Miss Asian American 2010 Michelle Nguyen, Miss Vietnam Ethnic 2011 Trieu Thi Ha and others.-VNA
