Vietnamese cyclists have been in intensive training in Da Lat for nearly two weeks in preparation for the 27th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 27) in Myanmar next month.

"Da Lat is a suitable destination for training as its terrain is similar with the SEA Games routes and the cool weather will help my athletes improve their volume of red blood cells, which are good for them when competing with high intensity," said coach Huy Hung.

The team of 11 athletes will compete in six categories and is targeting at least one gold medal. They will fly to Ho Chi Minh City on December 7 and travel to Myanmar the next day.
