More than 100 Vietnamese from every corner of Russia competed in a singing contest held in Moscow recently, which formed part of the Vietnamese community’s activities to enrich their cultural life.

The contest aimed to select candidates to represent the Vietnamese community in Russia at a major music event for all Vietnamese worldwide scheduled for May 2010 as an activity to mark the 1,000 th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
