The Vietnam Bar Federation and the Japan Federation of Bar Associations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on strengthening their friendship partnership in Hanoi on November 25.

Under the MoU, both sides agree to work together to raise the role of law and lawyers, as well as maintain and develop their ties based on the basis of bilateral friendship and cooperation.

The two federations will also intensify their professional relationship through the exchange of publications, documents and information as well as visits by their lawyers.

The Vietnam Bar Federation has established ties with the Japanese counterpart through cooperation activities with the Japan International Cooperation Agency.-VNA
