Speaking at the congress, First Secretary of the Vietnamese Embassy in France Ta Quoc Tuan expressed his hope that union will encourage study and scientific research among Vietnamese students in France , making them an exemplary community in the European country.
Former president of the union Nguyen Duc Khuong said he believed that the association will put forward more initiatives to promote research among students and connect its activities with those of the Vietnam Association of Science and Experts in France .
The congress elected a 28-member executive committee for the next term./.
