People in Ho Chi Minh City had a chance to enjoy an artistic performance by Indian artists as part of the 6 th Vietnam-India People’s Friendship Festival, which featured a series of cultural and tour events in Hanoi , Da Nang and HCM City from October 21-26.

Addressing the event in HCM City, Vice Chairman of the city’s Union of Friendship Organisations Phan Long said the festival has always been a success throughout the year, helping people of the two countries better understanding each other’s cultures through art and music exchanges.

Vice President of the All-India Peace and Solidarity Organisation (AIPSO) Devi Prasad Tripathi stressed that India and Vietnam enjoy a close and deep relationship, with culture helping bring people closer.

He said he believes the strategic partnership between the two countries will see further development in all fields, including culture and people-to-people exchange.

The 6 th Vietnam-India People’s Friendship Festival was jointly organised by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations and the All-India Peace and Solidarity Organisation (AIPSO).-VNA
