Vietnam’s chess master second in U10 world championship
Vietnamese Nguyen Quoc Hy has won a silver medal at the World Cadets U8, U10 and U12 Chess Championships in Georgia.

Vietnam sent a team of nine competitors to Georgia. Hy was the only master named in the top three of the annual tournament.
Last year, Nguyen Le Cam Hien pocketed a gold medal in the girl’s U8 event. Hien did not compete this year.-VNA
