As of 18.00 local time on June 30, Vietnam has confirmed 131 cases of A/H1N1, with eight new cases reported the same day, according to the Ministry of Health.

Of the total number of infections, 109 are in the southern region, 14 in the north and 8 in the central area.

Fortunately, the flu has not spread out into the community and no fatalities have been reported in Vietnam . H1N1 carriers are being isolated and treated. All are expected to recover fully.

In the context of the complicated development of the super flu, especially as the time for university entrance exams draws near, the Health Ministry has warned students to take care of their personal hygiene and their health.

According to WHO, as of June 30, the A/H1N1 flu has hit 116 countries and territories with 70,893 cases, 311 of which were fatal./.
