The Vietnamese Ambassador to France Duong Chi Dung on Dec. 22 presented his credentials to French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

At the presentation ceremony, the French President expressed his delight at recent fine developments of the Vietnam-France relations, hoping that the relations will continue to develop to new highs.

Ambassador Dung highlighted the traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and France , saying that the two countries’ leaders and people are striving to build a strategic partnership to benefit both countries.

Dung took this opportunity to convey an invitation to visit Vietnam from President Truong Tan Sang to President Sarkozy.

The Vietnamese Ambassador said he hopes to receive more support of the French leader in tightening and improving cooperative effectiveness between the two countries.

As scheduled, Ambassador Dung will present his credentials in Portugal on January, 10, 2012 and in Monaco on February 9./.
