A working group on judicial reform research of Vietnam led by Le Thi Thu Ba, Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee for Judicial Reform, has undertaken a working visit to Argentina.

During its five-day visit from Nov. 11, the group had meetings with high-level representatives from Argentina’s judicial and legal sectors, including Secretary of State for Justice Julian Alvarez, Chairman of the Supreme Court Ricardo Luis Lorenzetti, Deputy Minister of Public Security Cristina Camano, Head of the Procuracy Esteban Righi and Head of the Civil Protection Institute Stella Mariz Martinez.

At the working sessions, the Vietnamese working group learnt about structures of courts, judging apparatus, legal procedures, law-making process, legal consultancy, international judicial coordination in crime control and human resource training.

The group inquired into the organisation, function, task and relations between institutions relating to justice as well as between central and local judicial agencies.
