Senior officials of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) met in Beijing on Dec. 1 to discuss the further development of bilateral ties.

Li Changchun, member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China Central Committee’s Political Bureau hailed the Vietnamese delegation, headed by Dinh The Huynh, Politburo member, Chairman of the Theoretical Council and Head of the Commission for Popularisation and Education of the CPV Central Committee, for visiting China and attending the 7th Theoretical Workshop between the two parties.

Li said boosting relations between the two parties is very important in the circumstance of complex changes in the world.

He said the theoretical workshop was a practical activity to implement agreements between leaders of the two countries after the recent visit to China by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
He affirmed that the Chinese Party, State and people will work together with Vietnam to lift China-Vietnam relations to a new height.

He highly appreciated the CPV’s experiences in works on the masses and expressed his wish that the two sides will coordinate to competently implement mass mobilisation work in the new circumstances.

For his part, Huynh said that the Vietnamese Party, State and people attach importance to constantly boosting friendship and comprehensive cooperation with China .

He praised China ’s organisation of the theoretical workshop, which contributed to giving out measures to solve problems in relations between the Party and people./.
