About 620,000 foreign tourists arrived in Vietnam this month,
bringing the number of international visitors to the country to over
2.49 million in the first four months of this year, up almost 23
percent from the same period last year.

According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, this month Vietnam saw a record in the number of tourists from the Republic of Korea , with an increase of 71 percent over the same period last year’s figure.
The number of tourists to Vietnam on cruise ships is also on the rise, representing an increase of 67 percent in April and 40 percent in the first four months of the year.
Ho Chi Minh City received 275,000 foreign arrivals this month, a year-on-year increase of 10 percent.-VNA
