VN hosts international shop, franchise exhibition
The third Vietnam International Shop and Franchise Show (VISFS) 2011
opened on Nov. 3 in Ho Chi Minh City, with 150 businesses from Vietnam,
the US, Thailand, the Republic of Korea, Singapore and Australia taking
part.

The event was co-organised by the Coex Group of the RoK in cooperation with Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company (Vinexad).
According to Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Thanh Bien, the exhibition provided a venue for investors, producers and businesses operating in the retail industry and franchise sector to seek and expand investment and cooperative opportunities in Vietnam .
Speaking at the opening, Oh Sae Hack, RoK Consul-General in Ho Chi Minh City highlighted Vietnam ’s strong potential for developing retail market, adding that the exhibition is a good chance for businesses to share experience as well as promote their products in the country.
The exhibition will run until Nov. 5./.
