Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung made this affirmation in Hanoi on April 19 during his meeting with Qatar Ambassador to Vietnam Mohammed Jaber Abdullah Al-Sulaiti.
He said he hoped that Ambassador will make an active contribution to promoting the friendship between Vietnam and Qatar during his working term in Vietnam .
PM Dung offered to further promote cooperative relations between the two nations, especially in the field of trade, saying that it was necessary for both countries to soon sign an agreement on mission visa exemption aiming to foster bilateral cooperation in the fields of banking, oil and gas, energy and labour export.
For his part, the ambassador affirmed that he would exert himself to speed up diplomatic relations between the two nations in the future.
He also expressed his desire for Vietnam to create favourable conditions for effectively implementing the trade agreements between the two countries in the future./.
