The Union of Vietnamese Students in France (UEVF) has attended the 82 nd
congress of the National Union of Students of France (UNEF), held in
the French southern city of Montpellier.

the French southern city of Montpellier.
The attendance in the congress, which was participated by almost 1,000 delegates across France and representatives from 45 students associations worldwide, aimed to seek better understanding and support for Vietnam from the international community.
The UEVF representatives met with the new executive committee of UNEF, and talked about a number of difficulties faced by Vietnamese students in France, such as employment, housing, insurance and administrative procedures.
The Vietnamese delegation proposed UNEF request the French government to adopt supporting policies and create favourable conditions for Vietnamese students in particular and foreign students in France in general./.
