The event, as part of the 8 th Vietnam-US Science and Technology Joint Committee Meeting, sought the acceleration of the two countries’ linkages in creative research.
Scientists, businesspeople and management authorities worked on ways to raise the efficiency of the public-private partnership model in the area of creative research.
The participating US businesspeople said a limited creative research environment posed a major challenge to scientific and technological activities in Vietnam .
Meanwhile, the private sector has focused only on exploiting and using available research results for production, they added.
During the event, participants also talked about a mechanism that would boost bilateral cooperation in the field.-VNA
