Yen Bai (VNA) – The domestic and external information carried by the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) has been widely spread to authorities and people in the northwestern region, heard a meeting in the northern province of Yen Bai on February 26.

The State-run agency’s media products such as the VNews TV Channel, the Tin Tuc (News) newspaper, and the Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Region pictorial have been warmly received by readers in the region, said Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for the Northwestern Region Hoang Thi Hanh.

VNA Deputy General Director Le Duy Truyen highlighted the significance of coordination between the agency and the steering committee in disseminating the Party’s policy and State’s law among domestic and foreign readers as well as popularising the image of local ethnic people on mass media.
