A house, funded by the “For Victims of Agent Orange” Fund of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and China’s Taiwan Trade Association (TTA), has been gifted to Agent Orange victim Dao Thi Thanh Kieu in the southern province of Binh Phuoc.

The 44 m2 house was built at a cost of 48 million VND, 30 million VND coming from the VNA’s Fund and the TTA and the rest being raised by Kieu’s family.

This is the first house built by the Fund for disadvantaged AO victims in Phuoc Thien commune’s Bu Dop district.

Binh Phuoc province is now home to more than 4,000 AO victims. Many have already died from cancer and 901 AO victims are currently entitled to subsides because of their medical condition.-VNA
