exhibition and launched a photo book titled “Charming Vietnam”
The event was in celebration of the 86 th anniversary of the Vietnam ’s Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 – June 21, 2011)
The exhibition highlights five photo reports on Vietnam ’s regions such as the Northwest, Hanoi , Hue , Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta by VNA’s photo-journalist Hoang Minh Quoc, together with 59 works selected from the photo book “Charming Vietnam” of the same author.
The 242-page book with 227 photos presented a lively panorama of the land and people of Vietnam as well as specific characteristics of each region across the country.
The entire proceeds from the book’s sale will be donated to the VNA fund for the victims of Agent Orange ./.
