Vietnamese exporters earned 94.35 million USD from Mexico in August, a year-on-year rise of 28 percent, thanks to an increase in export volume.

According to a report of the Vietnamese Embassy’s Commercial Office, in the first eight months of this year, Vietnam ’s export turnover to this North American market surpassed 622 million USD, up 21 percent over the same period last year.

Meanwhile, the country’s eight-month imports from Mexico dropped by 20.5 percent to 41.5 million USD.

The Commercial Office said with Vietnam’s increasing exports to Mexico, the second largest market in Latin America, this year’s target of 1 billion USD in two-way trade is achievable./.
