WB funds Hai Phong’s traffic development

Committee and the World Bank (WB) on August 16 kicked off an urban
traffic development project.

Committee and the World Bank (WB) on August 16 kicked off an urban
traffic development project.
The project, to be
implemented between 2011 and 2016, aims to facilitate inner-city travel
and strengthen the city’s urban traffic management and planning
capacity.
The project will focus on building roads linking the city’s areas and improve urban public transport systems.
The project has an estimated investment of over 276 million USD with
175 million USD provided by the WB and the remaining sourced from the
local budget./.
