Yahoo! Vietnam has said its Yahoo! 360 will stop operations beginning July 17 and confirmed Yahoo! 360plus as its official replacement in the market.

On the first anniversary of the launch of 360plus, the company launched last week the new product’s latest features ( http://yahoo.com.vn/360plus ) based on user input and feedback.

The improved product would enable users to better leverage a variety of features that make it “an essential online experience, thus allowing more expression”, the company said, adding this would expand the users’ network and help them share their blog content more easily and effectively.

To help users transfer their 360 content to 360plus, Yahoo! provides tools and details on using them on the 360plus home page ( http://vn . blog.yahoo.com/chuyennha/).

360plus is now the primary product through which Yahoo! will focus on building its community of social internet and blog users in Vietnam, according to Vu Minh Tri, general director of Yahoo!Vietnam.

The social community platform 360plus, introduced a year ago, supports a Vietnamese language interface and is part of Yahoo’s ongoing efforts to remain the essential online starting point and sustain the company’s leading position in the Vietnamese online market. According to the Yahoo! Net Index study done with the market research company TNS in April, 85 percent of all internet users in major cities in Vietnam use Yahoo! for their online social activities. The 360plus community has grown by 60 percent a year in Vietnam and the company expects to attract new users in the coming months./.
