A secretary of the Party Central Committee has urged Vietnamese and Chinese people to further their co-ordination to effectively carry out agreements set for the 2010-2011 period.

Ha Thi Khiet, who is also head of the Party Central Committee Commission for Mass Mobilisation made the recommendation in Hanoi on January 18 while receiving a Chinese youth delegation.

The delegation, led by Wang Hong Yan, Secretary of the Secretariat of the Communist Youth League of China (CYLC) Central Committee, is on a visit to Vietnam to attend the Vietnam-China Youth Friendship meeting.

At the meeting, Khiet applauded the delegation’s visit and its exchange activities with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) to mark the 60 th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and China.

For his part, Wang Hong Yan expressed his pleasure to attend the event held by HCYU, pledging that CYLC will try its best to work with its Vietnamese counterpart in bolstering cooperation and mutual support to tighten the Vietnam-China relationship./.
