An agreement to promote cooperation in business and customer services in the electric power industry between the youth unions of Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) group and the power corporations of the north, the south, the central region, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City was signed in Hanoi on June 12.

Under the agreement, the youth unions will provide poor households and workers with new electrical appliances, and disseminate knowledge on how to use electricity safely and effectively among communities in remote areas.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Hoang Quoc Vuong, Chairman of EVN’s board of members, underlined the significant role of business and customer service in the Group’s development.

He affirmed that EVN attaches importance to mobilising all resources for electricity generation and supply, aiming to improve its service quality.

Cooperative activities will be carried out in all provinces and cities across the country. The implementation of the activities will be reviewed to improve future cooperation.-VNA
