put into operation by the end of April.
According to Tran Bau Ha, Head of the zone’s management board, the works included traffic roads and water supply systems in the EZ and several nearby communes.
The State and Ha Tinh province have so far invested in 93 infrastructure projects in the EZ with a total investment of 2 trillion VND (95 million USD).
The EZ, which boasts a favourable traffic route to Laos and northeastern Thailand, is now home to 110 licensed enterprises and nearly 800 household businesses that paid over 20 billion VND in import-export taxes in the first four months of this year./.
