One hundred enterprises have been honoured for their integration and development efforts in 2009 at a ceremony held in Hanoi on January 10.
Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong presented awards to the winning businesses, highlighting them in terms of application of environmentally-friendly technology, product quality management, competitiveness and services, trademark development, and business culture.
He expressed his hope that all enterprises would boost their reform, helping the Government realise the target of making Vietnam a powerful country with rich people and a just, democratic and civilized society.
The “Enterprises’ Integration and Development” award, apart from highlighting those businesses for working hard to raise their own economic efficiency and competitiveness in global economic integration, also aims to encourage them to go internationally.
The award was given to 81 businesses in 2008 and 119 in 2007, when it was first launched./.
