One hundred enterprises have been honoured for their integration and developmentefforts in 2009 at a ceremony held in Hanoi on January 10.
Deputy PrimeMinister Truong Vinh Trong presented awards to the winning businesses,highlighting them in terms of application of environmentally-friendlytechnology, product quality management, competitiveness and services, trademarkdevelopment, and business culture.
He expressed his hope that allenterprises would boost their reform, helping the Government realise the targetof making Vietnam a powerful country with rich people and a just, democratic andcivilized society.
The “Enterprises’ Integration and Development” award,apart from highlighting those businesses for working hard to raise their owneconomic efficiency and competitiveness in global economic integration, alsoaims to encourage them to go internationally.
The award was given to 81businesses in 2008 and 119 in 2007, when it was first launched./.
