Twelve volunteers from the Republic of Korea have arrived in Vietnam under the RoK’s human resources support to Vietnam , said Republic of Korea Embassy in Hanoi on Feb. 21.

They are the first volunteers to have come to the country in 2011 under the framework agreement on non-refundable aid between the two governments.

The volunteers will teach Korean language at universities in various cities and provinces including Hanoi , Danang and Hue after an eight-week training course on the Vietnamese language as well as the country’s socio-economic situation, politics and customs.

After finishing their courses, the volunteers will start their terms of services from April 9 to Feb. 15, 2013./.
