200,000 notebooks presented to Cuban students

Ho Chi Minh City presented 200,000 notebooks for Cuban students to
welcome the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Cuba diplomatic ties.

welcome the 50 th anniversary of Vietnam-Cuba diplomatic ties.
The donation is being made through a charity programme jointly administered by Liberated Saigon daily and Trust Bank which aims to donate 3,000 wheelchairs and two million notebooks to disadvantaged children.
Speaking at the event, chairman of Trust Bank Hoang Van Toan highlighted that the activity contributes to fostering the special friendship between the two countries.
Dinoral Hernandez Sanchez, Cuban Deputy Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City said that these gifts contribute to increasing mutual understanding and traditional friendship between both nations./.
