Twenty-four teams from across Vietnam will compete at the National U15 Football Championships to be held from March 21 to April 12, announced the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) on February 26.
The teams will play in four groups under the two-legged round robin format. The two teams with the highest scores in each group will enter the final round from May 21-30.
In the final round, the eight teams will play in two groups under the round robin format to select the final four for the semi-finals, the VFF said.
The winning team will be awarded 50 million VND (about 2,380 USD) while the runner-up will receive 30 million VND (about 1,430 USD). The two other semi-finals competitors will both be considered third and presented with 20 million VND (over 950 USD) each.
The organising board will also honour the fair-playing team, the best player, the best goalkeeper, the player with the most goals, and the best referee crew.
