They are among five people reported missing since the accident occurred on the night of September 24. The ship, QN-5298, was carrying over 20 passengers and staff on a tour of Ha Long Bay, however, a storm suddenly swamped the ship. Apart from the five dead and missing, the remainder were rescued and brought to land safely.
The relevant agencies have identified the five dead and missing victims, including a Vietnamese tour guide, a Vietnamese stewardess and three tourists--two from the United Kingdom and one from France.
Further search and rescue efforts are continuing for those still missing./.
