An additional 382 Vietnamese workers in Libya arrived at the Cairo International Airport, Egypt, on Feb. 27 morning.

Those workers, who work for Huyndai AJMCO of the Republic of Korea (RoK), came to Egypt through Salloum border gate.

Huyndai AMCO pledged to buy air tickets for them soon to go home and ensure essential needs for the Vietnamese workers during their transit.

So far, 709 Vietnamese workers have come to Egypt through Salloum border gate. Of them, 185 employees of Sona and Won companies of the RoK have returned to Vietnam .

The Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt is coordinating with relevant agencies and enterprises to complete necessary procedures for Vietnamese workers to return home. The embassy also provided food and drinks to those workers during their stay in Egypt .

According to the Vietnamese Embassy in Libya , 44 Vietnamese workers of SVLido of Libya are on the way to Egypt through Salloum border gate.

The embassy added that Turkey had sent a list of over 700 Vietnamese workers who are scheduled to enter Egypt through Salloum border gate./.
