The Thai Embassy in Israel is prepared to move over 4,000 Thai workers away from the Gaza Strip in order to ensure their safety.
The embassy reported that three Thai civilians have been killed by airstrikes from the Gaza Strip during Operation Protective Edge.
The Thai Foreign Ministry has advised Thai citizens to stop working in the area adjacent to Gaza . So far, 38 Thai workers have said they want to be moved to safe areas.
It is estimated that around 27,000 Thai nationals are working in Israel.-VNA
