4,000 Thai workers to be moved out of Gaza Strip

The Thai Embassy in Israel is prepared to move over 4,000 Thai workers away from the Gaza Strip in order to ensure their safety.

Theembassy reported that three Thai civilians have been killed byairstrikes from the Gaza Strip during Operation Protective Edge.

TheThai Foreign Ministry has advised Thai citizens to stop working in thearea adjacent to Gaza . So far, 38 Thai workers have said they wantto be moved to safe areas.

It is estimated that around 27,000 Thai nationals are working in Israel.-VNA
